Alfa Romeo MiTo with LSD doors

As an expert of turning almost every car’s doors into Lambo Style, LSD has come up with a new kit for the Alfa Romeo MiTo!

These new gullwing doors are developed with GRS (Guided Roller System) which ensures precision and safety i opening and closing the doors with adjustable roller guidance. This will also cause the doors to fit perfectly in place while closed.

The kit is priced at 1,399 Euro and will be on display at this year’s ESSEN Motorshow from November 28 to December 6 along with other LSD products.

LUMMA CLR 730 RS BMW M5

Lumma design has already created a magnificent kit for the E60 BMW M5, but now they have teamed up with G-power to create a truly unique and amazing version of the car called 730RS.

As you might have already guessed, 730 stands for the number of horsepower that the G-power modified V10 engine in this car produces.

They had to install a pair of turbochargers and a racing grade exhaust system to extract 730 hp and 700 Nm of torque from that high-revving engine. But it was worth it because the CLR730 does 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and has a top speed of 367,4 km/h!

Lumma CLR 730 also sports an amazing body kit with extensive use of carbon fiber for fenders, side sills, bonnet,roof and trunk lid. To make sure it works well in high speed the aerodynamics of the car is adjusted through front spoiler lip, extended skirts, a huge air diffuser and a bootlid wing as well as a roof spoiler.

To cope with the extra 230 hp, the tuner had to upgrade other parts as well, so the car has been given a a new sport suspension system which lowers the car by 45 mm, and LUMMA Racing 21-inch wheels which come in 10×21” with tires size 255/30 for front and 12Jx21 with tires size 295/25 for the rear. It is also fitted with racing grade brakes with 6-pistons at front and 4 at the back.

Nissan 370Z by APP Europe

After modifying the old 350Z and the GT-R, Advanced Performance Parts has turned its attention to the latest member of Nissan’s sportscars club, the 370Z.

It’s very light package in which three-piece 20-inch Oxigin Lexor wheels in black and white wrapped in tires with size 245/30 front and 275/30 rear. That along with some suspension lowering are all they have done to the car’s appearance.

They have used a A KW option 3 coilover kit to drop the car by 30mm.

But then they got busy with mechanical parts, and although there is no performance upgrade, they’ve fitted the car with a high performance brake system from StopTech. It has 6 pistons with discs size 380×32 mm in the front and 4 pistons with disc size 355×32 mm in the back.

And last but not least, APP Europe has installed a sport exhaust system from MR Car Design to turn the not so attractive noise of the 370Z into a deep sporty roar.

Lexus GS F-Sport by TRD

Toyota Racing Development team has been quit busy at this year’s SEMA show. Along with their customized Toyotas, they have also tried out some of their sister company’s cars.

And this F-Sport Lexus GS 350 is a good example of their work. Originally, GS is well known for its comfort, silence and discrete looks. Not in the F-sport model though!

The car is totally revamped with its new body kit, PPG Vibrance Orange Glow three-stage candy paint and 19-inch F-sport five double-spoke wheels which are covered with Yokohama Advan performance tires. It is also fitted with sport suspension which drops ot to the ground and a new high performance braking package.

This car is a showcase of Lexus’ sporty side! Although it still looks too lazy and boring!

Toyota Yaris Hard Kandy

Toyota Yaris is a very popular car for ladies, but it’s getting a bit old and inevitably old-fashioned! So to make it more interesting for female buyers they’ve come up with a Hard Kandy version of the car which comes with special visual tweaks as well as interior upgrades.

This Yaris features a factory-built sport bodykit with new bumpers and rear spoiler. It’s also wrapped with a Custom Vinyl by Visual Image Systems and has got a Inalfa 845 Signature Series In-Built Sunroof.

The car is also fitted with 18-inch Maximum Contrast Wheels with Machined and Black Finish and Pirelli P-Zero Nero 215/35 X18 Tires. Other technical modifications include a sport exhaust and cold air intake systems.

For the interior you get a number of new stuffs including Roadwire Custom OEM Replacement Leather and Alcantara Upholstery, GG Bailey Custom Carpeted Floormats, Ground Effects Limited Custom Hydrographics, LED Light Kit, Sport Pedals, and Sport Shift Knob.

Drag races and street races are popular

Speed has always posed a challenge which racers have taken on with great enthusiasm. Their creativity is at its best when designing these races. The greater the challenge, the higher the adrenalin rush, and consequently the more thrilling is the race. Drag races and street races fall in this category. In drag races, a quarter of a mile stretch is marked out. This is a straight line, and cars race from one point to the other.

There are 3 criteria in a drag race:

A) Reaction time – the time that the driver takes to move from a stationary position to great speed as the starter either drops his arm or flag.

B) Elapsed time – the time the driver takes to go from the starting point to the finish point.

C) A speed trap at the finish line gives the speed of the vehicle.

Sometimes the start is done electronically using lights fitted vertically. The winner crosses the finish line first. This means that he has the shortest reaction time and elapsed time. If the driver has a short elapsed time but his reaction time is not the shortest, he does not win the race.

Street racing might be either spontaneous or planned. Matches are arranged in parking lots of drive-in restaurants and the track is decided on at this time. There are 3 kinds of street racing. Drag racing is generally done by 2 cars. Then there is the togue racing which originated in Japan and is racing that has narrow winding mountain roads and passes as its racing track. Third is the cannonball runs which are point-to-point rallies. We might wonder at the popularity and thrill of this sport. It is the bond that springs up between the spectators and the racers, that gives it the excitement. Both participants and observers place wagers, which are another attraction, and the main thing is that in this kind of racing, there is no entry fee, or politicking, and the rules are made by consensus.

Certain specifics that pertain to drag or street racing are: a dig which refers to the participants, a roll refers to the race which starts from a stationary position i.e. zero-speed and stops only when there is one participant. There is system devised to include those cars that are not as fast. They are allowed to start their ace a few lengths ahead of the others. This is a set out length. If there is no flagger the racers use the technique of break, hit, kick or move. Though these races are illegal in most countries, there is no denying their presence, and there is a strict code of conduct that has evolved, between the racers on the one hand and the racers and observers on the other.

Hofele Design Royster GT 460 based on VW Touareg

The mighty VW Touareg has been around for a some years now but it has not been very active in the world of tuning, don’t know why and don’t care because Hofele Design has just proved that it just has not good potential anyway!

Of course it seems that Hofele just wanted to turn this big SUV into a GT car and they didn’t really care about its own qualities! So they’ve given it a wide bodykit with new bumpers, LED lights, side sills, side vents, flared fenders and a rear diffuser.

The car is also fitted with 22-inch wheels. That along with the extreme amount of suspension lowering were kinda necessary changes since the car is powered by a massive W12 engine which chucks out 480 hp!

The Royster is a good tuning job but as a car it is really pointless!

2010 Seat Leon FR by JE DESIGN

With every new Seat model, there will be inevitably a modified JE Design version! and that’s a good thing because this tuner always does a fine job.

So what they have to offer for the 2010 Leon FR? Well, the first thing you notice on the car are the Lambo-style wing doors which alone cost 1499 Euros! The other parts of the kit consists of a new front spoiler with a double lip, side skirts, a rear skirt attachment and a rear diffuser.

The car also gets a suspension system which is lower than standard by 35mm, 19-inch sport wheels with 225/35R tires and sport exhaust mufflers for the sake of a deeper roar.

Deepest modifications however, are done to the engines. JE Design has plans for both petrol and diesel models:

For the 2.0 lite TFSI petrol unit which has 211 hp standard, the tuner offers an ECU treatment which increased the power to 270 hp (199 kW). The maximum torque leaps from 280 to 355 Newton metres.

And as for the 2.0 liter diesel engine which develops 170 hp in its factory form, they’ve come up with a new Can-Tronic unit which boots the power right up to 204 hp and the torque from 350 to 380 Newton metres.

Hartge BMW 5-series Gran Turismo

The new member of BMW’s 5-series range, the Gran Turismo, is getting a styling package from Bimmer specialist Hartge.

The tuner has applied the usual recipe of tuning on the GT by using a combination of suspension lowering and huge wheels. The Hartge 5er GT is lower by 30mm than standard and is fitted with 22-inch rims. The customer can choose the color and design of the wheels from Hartge’s catalog.

The interior of the car has been given a more sporty atmosphere by using new aluminum parts. You get new aluminum pedals and foot rest as well as an aluminum emblem for the center of the steering wheel. Hartge has not yet announced details on any performance upgrade for this car.

Range Rover Sport Prestige

The British tuner Prestige has come up with a weird body kit for the Range Rover Sport, giving it a more sporty character while ruining its offroad capabilities.

Range Rover’s body is heavily modified with a new grille, redesigned bumpers that are huge!, very tall side skirts, bonnet vents, upper and lower rear tailgate spoilers and engine bay detailing.

The rear bumper is also extended so the tailpipes are now integrated into it! The car’s imposing presence is boosted even further by the massively flared arches in which there are big aport alloys with low profile tires.

The tuner offers addition features such as an innovative LED headlight conversion, and a bespoke program for the interior, including full leather re-trim options, kick sills and custom detailing that the customer can tailor to his desired specs.
