B&B tunes 2010 VW Golf R for more power
Newly introduced VW Golf R is already considered as one of the best hot hatchbacks of 2010, but German tuner B&B has come up with a power package for it which redefines the word “Hot” !
They don’t mess around with the design or the interior. In fact the only visual factors are lowered ride height and big black wheels and even they contribute more to the performance than to the looks.

But under the hood where is the magic happens! Thanks to a bigger turbocharger, better cooling system, new sport exhaust system and a remapped ECU, you can now have the Golf R with 310, 324 or 362 horsepower.
The top of the line 362hp version has supercar-like performance with a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h.

Limited Edition Carlsson C25 for Geneva Motor Show
German tuner, or car manufacturer let’s say, Carlsson is working on a new super GT based on Mercedes Benz SL 600 V12 to be shown at 2010 Geneva Motor Show.
Dubbed the C25, it comes with a whole new body, which might be still recognizable as a Merc SL, but is bold and amazing from every angle and has got the presence of a supercar.

It is also powered by the same twin-turbo V12 as the SL 600, but for the C25 it’s been modified deeply to deliver no less than 753 and an impossible 1350 nm of torque! And that is impossible torque, so the tuner had to electronically limit it to just 1150 nm. Still enough to restart a dead planet with!
The performance this powerplant results in just boggles with mind! 0 to 100 km/h is done in just 3.7 second and it can reach a top speed of over 350 km/h.

Of course Carlsson has adjusted the chassis and suspension to cope with this extreme performance as the car comes with a tweaked C-tronic suspension system which lowers the ride height intelligibly. They have also fitted it with big powerful brakes and 9,5×20 and 12×20 inches lightweight alloys.
This being a luxury GT, the tuner also offers a lavish interior decorated with a blend of real carbon, tanned buffalo leather and ultra-suede in special colours. Mind you the C25 is limited to only 25 units and each goes for as near as makes no difference half a million euros!

Although this is only a preview and the full package will be shown at this year’s Geneva autoshow, but you can say it’s quite remarkable just by looking at the Mansory logo!

The car comes with revised bumpers which are adjusted for better aerodynamics through a new spoiler lip at front and a rear diffuser as well as a big carbon wing. They have also used carbon fiber for the hood, mirrors and side grilles which in combination with those huge black wheels, gives this 997 a magnificent look.
There;s no official details on performance upgrade available yet, but since the standard car comes with over 500hp, you can count on at least 600 hp to begin with!

Lamborghini Gallardo 560 TT by Heffner
Tuning an engine which is already very very powerful is a really though job. And even when someone says that they’ve tweak such engines you expect something like 50-80 more horsepower.
But Heffner Performance has come up with something for the 5.2 liter V10 engine of Lamborghini Gallardo LP560, which is simply unbelievable! They managed to extract a 1000 hp and a 1000 torque out of it! The standard engine has only 560hp and 570nm.

To achieve this, the tuner has fitted the engine with two fat turbochargers and they’ve upgraded other parts as well to cope. So even with normal pump fuel you get 850 hp at the disposal of your right foot. And if you put 100-octane fuel in it, then you get the full 1000!

The looks of the car remains intact apart from a new fixed rear wing, but who cares because this car does o to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of over 330 km/h.
