Senner Mercedes SLS

The latest tuning package for the Mercedes SLS comes from the German Senner tuning.

And it’s a good one all around. The package does not include a body kit, but the visuals are drastically improved with a set of Corniche Vegas stainless steel rims, measutring at 9×20 inch rims with 255/30R20 tires at the front and 11×20 inch rims and 285/30R20 tires at the rear.

The effect of wheels are perfected thanks to the Kw adjustable suspension which in its lowest setting give the SLS a killer look.

The engine is also mildly modified with a new exhausts system and high performance air intakes to make an extra 30 hp in addition to its standard 570 hp.

Those familiar with Topcar know that they’ve never tuned a Mercedes before. But their first effort is nothing less than spectacular. The car gets a very nice visual treatment which is not as showy as you would expect from Topcar.

The ingredients of the body kit include revised front and rear bumpers, flared wheel arches, new air intakes, spoiler lip and diffuser, side vents and new side skirts.

The looks are completed with a set of ADV1 fancy wheels finished in a cool titanium grey.

Well, at least in terms of visuals! The 1,6 liter engine has remains unchanged with a dismal 90 hp output. But because it has lots of new racing mechanical bits, it should be better to drive overall.

The car gets 18 inch white light alloy wheels, and Dunlop tires, KW suspension, and a red Wiechers roll bar, plus Recaro shell seats, and 3.5 inch wide Schroth-4-point belts. The cool thing is that it also gets Clarion multimedia system, with a flip monitor and a reversing camera. Lovely.

On the outside, the car gets a tweaked JCW body kit with front and rear spoilers and wings, and new side skirts, plus LSD doors.

The latest Manhart project car is this BMW M3 clubsport powered by the 4.4 liter V8 engine out of the high-powered BMW SUVs, X5 and X6M.

In this car however it gets larger air intake system, reinforced pistons and rods, new cooling system, new exhausts and catalysts. As a result the power goes up from 555 hp to 750 hp and 910 Nm of torque.

That in terms of performance results in a 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and can reach 320 km/h. The car has a power to weight ratio of 2.12 kg/hp, thanks to its kerb weight of 1590 kg.

Other new mechanical bits include MOVIT performance brakes with 396×34 millimeter discs with 6 piston calipers at front and 380×32 millimeter discs with 4-piston calipers at the back and 20-inch wheels with Continental Sport Contact 5 high-performance tires.

JE Design Audi Q7 Wide Body

JE Design has come up with yet another wide body kit for the Audi Q7, this time it benefits the 2011 S-Line version.

Starting with the engine, the 4.2 liter TDI V8 has been given a new breath of life from 250 kW (340 PS) standard to 302 kW (410 PS) with 895 NM (660 lb-ft). That boosts the performance and slashes the 0 to 100 time to 6.1 seconds.

the body kit includes massive front and rear bumpers, huge side skirts and a big roof wing. Everything here is massive, including the widened fenders that add between 30 to 40mm to the width of the Q7.

As for the wheels, you get 20 to 22-inch sets which can be had in matte-black, front silver matte / shadow silver, and polished / graphite matte. An adjustable suspension is also available.

As for the details, it includes front spoiler, some nicely designed side skirts, boot-lid spoiler, and a carbon rear diffuser. They are sporty and discrete. That’s a hard trick to pull.

You will only need a set of decent wheels and some suspension lowering for a perfect ride.

Schmidt Revolution VW Golf GTI

German tuner Schmidt Revolution has come up with a nice and not so complicated package for the Golf GTI.

It increases the power to 270 hp and adds a few visual touches for a more exciting experience. It gets Golf R32 rear apron and 70mm exhausts, performance air intakes and a heavy chip tuning.

MR Car Design VW Caddy

VW Caddy is of course a commercial van. But that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t get a nice tuning job!

MR Car Design volunteered to give it one. The main feature of it however is an advanced air suspension system with remote adjustability system and everything. They’ve also used Rotiform-alloy wheels (8.5 x 19 inches) with 225/35-19 tires.

The company MR Car Design from Erftstadt has virtually transformed the high roof combi presented here in gleaming silver. The air suspension on the front and rear axle is adjusted comfortablely, and the height being at the front as well as at the rear is adjustable either remotely or automatically. This train of thought has been continued by Marcel Reil and his crew. The remarkable result is that this Caddy III is also available with air suspension for the rear axle.

Both with an ABE (general operating permission) and with a UBB (clearance certificate) from VW. It means that this Caddy III with MR Car Design can be quite well transformed for the needs of people with disability (ies) in a couple of seconds. In addition, this version is made for craftsmen with extreme load because of the leveling.
