AC Schnitzer BMW 530d

AC Schnitzer revealed their full on package for the 2011 BMW 5-series. Currently they only offer performance upgrade for the 530d diesel model, as the rest of the engines are currently in the works.

The power of the car’s 3.0 liter diesel engine is boosted from 245 hp to 286 hp, and then to make also sound nice, AC installs a twin sports rear silencer with chromed “Sports Trim” tailpipes.

THe chassis and handling are also optimized with 19 or 20-inch Type IV wheels in BiColor or silver and AC Schnitzer spring kit which lower the car by 25mm. You also get AC Schnitzer 8-piston high performance brake system.

But all of AC’s efforts in making this car great seem pointless becasue of what they’ve done to the body! This is a truly ugly body kit which ruins the whole car. The standard car looks much nicer, why would you want to deliberately make it ugly?!
