ART Mercedes G55 StreetLine

Mercedes tuner has revealed their new tuning program for Mercedes G55 AMG at 2009 Dubai Motor Show, probably the best place in the world to debut this car!

It’s called the G StreetLine and is based on the mighty G55 AMG.

The car has a body kit resembling the one that ART had prepared some months ago as a one-off for a royalty guy in Abu Dhabi. It comes with modified bumpers with a new lighting system at front which contains LEDs and triple beam Xenon lights. Moreover it has new side steps with LED lights under them and three exhaust pipes in them on each side. There’s also a roof spoiler at the back which looks uncool to be honest.

The tuner has also fitted the car with 22-inch 10-spoke monoART1 wheels wrapped in 305/35 rubber.

The cabin of the StreetLine is dominated by bordeaux-red nappa leather as you find it on the seats, doors, panels and dashboard. But as usual, there’s also carbon fiber inserts.

The G55 has also received a good performance upgrade. The standard 507 hp is upped to 610 hp and the torque from 700 to 800 nm. They have removed the top speed limiter as well, so the car does 260 km/h now! Mind you this feature is not allowed in Germany.
