Audi R8 Tuning
Audi R8 is a mid-engine sports car with electrifying designs and one of the most subtle features among the cars in its segment. Designed and manufactured in 2006, this car symbolizes Audi’s versatility in technology and frame designs on the road. Originally engineered and conceptualized on Volkswagen’s designs, this car has proved its mettle on the road featuring a perfect combination of speed and safety gears.
Audi enthusiasts all across the globe are haunted by a single question; whether or not can this dream car be tuned and re-designed. One has to figure out an amazing combination of body kits, engine, suspension kits and xenon alloys to give this beautiful car an almighty look on the road.

Let us start with the engine technology. ABT have designed some astounding engines in the past. ABT engine tuning for basis 4.2 309kW is a real good configuration for Audi R8. From professional tasks like engine modification or optimization to a complete upgrade of every single entity, ABT has proved its mettle in this field. After this tuning, you experience faster pull away, more torque, more power and a high level of durability.
This beautiful car hardly needs a body makeover but can still be tuned as per our ways. ABT has launched one of the sportiest looking aerodynamic designs for R8. The complete kit includes a dark front skirt made from carbon fibre reinforced plastic. A rear skirt of the same material looks wonderful. Side blades are added asset to this wonderful body. Apart from carbon body parts, we have to add carbon suspension springs to lower down the car’s centre of gravity.
For such a world class car, one definitely needs Sports wheels to fit in the groove. Diamond cut designs painted in chrome silver are just the kind of wheels you look for Audi R8. The problem comes with the tubeless tyres. Michelin’s tubeless thin masked tyres are the best for this car.
Audi R8 needs a highly improved suspension kit to match its speed and technical configuration. A kit which is configured to handle a 400 Kgs of raw weight is best suited to its design.
Well designed exhaust systems are the strengths of any sports car around the globe. Audi R8 experiences less engine noise and a greater thrust due to re-injection of cold air. Exhausts need to be cleaned for carbon emissions that stick around the pipe’s end and may bring down the efficiency.
Talking about the interior cosmetics, we now see some great tune ups to beautify your car. Interior clutch pads, silicon floor mats, crazy neon car seat covers and Blaupunkt sports sub-woofers are some of the best interior fittings. Oval shaped carbon side mirrors look great with the R8 design.
Some finishing touches include a Silver streak spoiler, and crystal rear lights. Not only do they add a great sporty look but also provide the much needed balance and stability at the back. Since R8 is a light car, it surely needs some authentic touches like these.
R8 is truly an inspired version of extreme engineering and its tuned up version will surely rule the pro-streets for a long time to come.
