BMW Z4 by AC Schnitzer

German tuner AC Schnitzer announced details of their extensive tuning program for 2009 BMW Z4 type E89. The package includes both visual and mechanical upgrades.

The 3.5 liter six-cylinder engine in this Bimmer has been given some extra muscle by AC Schnitzer’s engineers and is now capable of 360 hp. This results in some really stunning performance figures! 0 to 100 in just 4.9 seconds and top speed of 286 km/h, very remarkable.

Many parts i the Z4 have been optimized to cope with the extra power and speed, like the suspension system which gets new springs. The exhaust system is also changed by the new stainless steel sports rear silencer and the chromed Racing tailpipe trims, which not only improve the looks of the car are also much sportier acoustically!

For the exterior design. AC Schnitzer came up with a new chrome grille, new front spoiler, New sports fenders, consisting of wheel arches with integral air outlets for improved cooling of the front brakes and chromed deflectors,and of course the rear wing. All of the parts are made of PU-Rim plastic for more flexibility and quality.

A very important part of this package if of course the new wheels, AC Schnitzer Type IV in 18” or Type VI wheels in 18, 19 or 20 inch, are the set of tools available to deliver all the 360 horses to the ground!

For the interior AC Schintzer enhances the sporty feel of the cabin with new aluminum covered parts.
