Hennessey Cadillac CTS-V 1000

Hennessey is planning the best tuning program for Cadillac CTS-V Coupe yet with the V1000 package.

First off the car gets a very nice body kit with CarbonAero CTS-V Widebody Upgrade,  Carbon Fiber Front Splitter, Carbon Fiber Rear diffuser, Carbon Fiber Front Fenders, Carbon Fiber Extractor Hood, Carbon Fiber Rear Fender Flares. It looks absolutely stunning.

Better than that though is the performance upgrade. The V8 engine ins the caddy is deeply modified with Forged Low Compression Pistons, Forged Steel Connecting Rods, Callies 4340 Forged Steel Crank, Balanced and Blueprinted Rotating Assembly, ARP Main Studs & Head Bolts, High Flow Cylinder Heads, Hennessey V1000 Camshaft, Upgraded Fuel Injectors,Upgraded Fuel System (Includes Lines, Rails & Pump), Twin Ball Bearing Turbochargers, Dual Wastegates, Electronic Boost Controller, Stainless Steel Piping and Exhaust, Air-to-Air Intercooler, High-Flow K&N Air Filter.

The result? 1000 bhp and 1286Nm (950 lb-ft) of torque. The result of that? Top speed of 230 mph or 370 km/h!

Cam Shaft Cadillac CTS-V

Cadillac CTS-V is a not car that gets tuning packages very often, but finally a German tuner called Cam Shaft came up with something for it.

And for start, they spray-painted all the chrome bits on the car, even the wheels in matte black! The body too is wrapped in a special matte white. So all the bling bling is gone and replaced with, well, nothing!

The design is not a very nice job to be honest, but the engine is. There Cam Shaft has used Wait4Me performance parts including larger air intake and optimized ECU to crank the power up from 552 to 630 hp. That we like!

Here’s the pricing of each part:

- Full foil finishing of the outer visible surfaces in matt-white costs 2250 €.
- Deplating and painting of 25 chrome parts in matt-black, including wheels painted in matt-black and black nickel-plated wheel bolts costs 3250 €.
- Compressor kit costs 3800 € including installation.

Cadillac CTS Convertible

American company Droptop Customs has released the first pictures of their Cadillac CTS Coupe Convertible which is being prepared for SEMA show.

Even though it looks a bit unfortunate with the rood up, it seems to be great fun with it down!

The Caddy CTS is a compact car and compact convertibles are always very fun to drive. By the looks of things, the roof arrangement Droptop is developing for the CTS is a fabric roof. Obviously a folding metal roof was hard to justify!

Cadillac CTS-V by Hennessey

Hennessey Performance for General Motors is like Brabus for Mercedes. They always tend to pick the already hot models and then create brutal monsters out of them!

Check out Hennessey’s Cadillac CTS-V here a is a good example. It comes out of factory with a superchraged V8 developing 556 hp. That is one of the most powerful cars GM has ever built! But what happens when Hennessey modifies it?!

Well, they upgrade the already upgraded engine of this Caddy and extract another 150 hp. That results in a massive 707 hp and 701 lb-ft of torque.

Now at this point you need some numbers to realize how big a monster this is! So there you go: 0 to 60 in 3.3 seconds and top speed 211 mph. It is also capable of running the quarter mile in an incredible 11.14 seconds at 129.95 mph.
