Caractere styling kit for Golf VI
This is the Belgian tuner Caractere’s kit for the Golf 6, which must be one of the most insane kits as well.
They have used JMS parts to devise this program which include complete set of front bumper and grille, side skirts, and a massive rear bumper with exhaust pipes, and a roof wing.

The car also comes with 8.5×19-inch wheels which in combination with H&R suspension kit that lowers the ride height by 40mm, give a killer side look to the Golf. The wheels are wrapped in 225/35 tires.

VW Golf GTD by H&R
By introducing the Golf GTD, VW actually started a new era of powerful but economic fast hatchbacks. The car has 170 hp but since this power comes from a diesel engine, it is quit light on fuel. It also delivers great torque.
However, the appearance of the Golf might be a bit too discrete for this level of performance! So German suspension specialist H&R comes to help with new packages for it.

You may order the regular sport kit for the GTD which costs 237 Euros and drops it for 30 mm through its sport springs. But if you are a pro, you would go for the adjustable coil-overs for 1070 Euros. They offer two levels of ride height lowering, the 20 to 50 mm or 70 mm extreme!
H&R also offers a range of spacers for the car that can be installed on factory or aftermarket wheels, in order to fill up the gap between fenders and tire shoulders.

Golf GTI performance upgrade by APS
A very cool thing about hot hatches is the fact that no matter how hot they already are, there is always more potential in them for upgrading! And one of the cheapest and most accessible ways to do that is indeed chip tuning.
That is exactly how APS managed to bump up the power of Golf VI GTI. With a new software for the car’s Electronic Control Unit, they managed to increase GTI’s power figures from 207bhp and 207lb.ft of torque to 250bhp at 5800rpm and 292 lb.ft at 2650rpm.

With this bump in power, the car’s performance is also upgraded accordingly. APS Golf GTI does 0 to 60 in 6.2 seconds while top speed is also increased slightly to 155 mph. The price of APS Stage One performance upgrade is £599.
