RM500 Genesis Coupe V8

If you’ve been wondering what a V8 Hyundai Genesis Coupe would look like, don’t wonder no longer.

Rhys Millen Racing and Hyundai teamed up for this year’s SEMA and bolted a Tau V8 from a Genesis sedan into a Geni Coupe. So you have a 450 hp Coupe here which is also fitted with lots of aftermarket goodies.

To name a few, the car comes with HRE 793-RS 19-inch wheels, Hankook Ventus R-S3 tires and Brembo carbon ceramic rotors with Brembo six and four piston calipers, plus an aero kit consisting of RMR carbon front lip, carbon spoiler, carbon rear diffuser, carbon side skirts, carbon fog light ducts and carbon grill.

Genesis Coupe Hurricane SC

This project car, to be unveiled at SEMA by Hyundai, RMR and a few other brands, can give you ideas to go ahead and tune your own Hyundai Genesis coupe.

The car gets a supercharger to produce no less than 450 hp, and also comes with a body kit including front bumper, grille, hood, side skirts, diffuser and rear deck with spoiler, plus RMR free flowing exhaust system and air intake.

19-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, and Bilstein suspension are also provided.

Inside the cabin you find Harman International high level Lexicon audio system that was tuned in house by HATCI engineers and Katzkin custom premium leather and suede seats accented with blue inserts.

PM Lifestyle Hyundai Veloster

Another SEMA-bound Hyundai Veloster has been reveled, this one by PM Lifestyle, a media company.

The visuals are not that crazy, just a carbon bonnet, some big wheels and subtle aero kit. But they’ve devised a heavy program for tuning the engine. They haven’t announced any figures yet, but the list of the modifications speak for itself.

Hyundai Veloster ARK

ARK Performance is the first tuner to announce a thorough kit for the new Hyundai Veloster.

This extensive package will be revealed at the 2011 SEMA show along with a numbr of other jobs for the car and also the Genesis Coupe. This Veloster ebnefits from a twin-scroll turbocharger that makes 210 hp.

Hyundai Sonata RIDES

RIDES Magazine prepared just one car for the SEMA show based on the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Turbo, and it to be honest is the best car of the whole show!

It comes with a magnificent bodykit including new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, rear spoiler and roof spoiler, garnished with a matte pearl paint job from BASF, and 20-inch Rennen Modular M9 concave wheels powder coated matte black wrapped in Falken FK452 tires.

They’ve also used smoked lights matte black debadged front grille, Audi LED fog lights integrated into the new front bumper and 3M vinyl carbon wrap on the roof. All in all, it’s a superb looking car. Oh, and it also gets JBL 12-inch subwoofers paired with two JBL amplifiers.

Mummbles Marketing Hyundai Equus

You’ve seen a couple of SEMA-bound custom Hyundai Equus so far but here’s one of them finest!

It’s done by Mummbles Marketing and they’ve taken a more elegant, more luxurious approach over the usual sport sport themes. This suits the Equus much better.

They’ve also tweaked, or turbocharged we should say, the car’s TAU V8 engine up to 450 hp. The extra power is complemented by a range visual enhancements and equipments upgrades. Mummbles Equus also gets 22-inch Work Equip rims.

Hyundai Equus DUB

SEMA should would feel so empty with out DUB!

So here’s one of their contenders, based on the Hyundai Equus.  It comes with Trex DUB Design mesh grille, DUB Design custom body kit, tinted windows and tail lights, and a custom two-tone, gloss black-and-matte charcoal paint job.

It also gets sport suspension complemented by 24-inch TIS modular style 10 wheels with Pirelli Pzero Nero Tires. Inside the cabin you get illuminated headliner and custom rear bucket seats, and an upgraded Lexicon audio system with nine Infiniti Kappa Series speakers, KAPPA ONE mono and KAPPA FOUR four-channel amplifiers.

Hyundai Equus Signature by RMR

In a rather unexpected move, Rhys Millen Racing revealed their plan for a custom Hyundai Equus to star at the 2010 SEMA show.

The Equus is a luxury car and does not really go well with this kinda customizations, but nevertheless, it gets two-tone carbon fiber and Red Bull Racing blue satin clear paint by BASF and HRE 21-inch P40 wheels as well as carbon mirrors, and front chin and rear deck spoilers.

Inside the cabin you will find RMR Signature Edition embroidered headrests and floor mats, and ostrich hide leather seats with suede accents. They’ve also tweaked the engine from 385 to 415 bhp and istalled a high performance brake kit with 14-inch discs.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe by Hennessey

Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a car with a huge potential for customization and tuning. So expect to see quit a lot of tricked out Coupes at the upcoming SEMA tuning show in Las Vegas this November.

One of the hottest tuned Genesis Coupe you will see there will be this carbon-crazed model which is the result of a joint project by Hyundai America and world famous tuner Hennessey Performance Engineering.

Hennessey actually assigned this project to the students of its Tuner School, and by the looks of things, they’ve done a great job! The car’s body is wrapped in carbon fiber and it has a heavily modified engine which chucks out 500 hp! So the Genesis Carbon Coupe is capable of doing 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds, supercar performance!

“The Genesis Coupe architecture is the ideal platform for tuners looking to make everyday modifications to their vehicles and our students at the Tuner School took full advantage,” said Hennessey. “The visually stunning complete carbon fiber matte black wrap and high-end performance benchmarks create a monster SEMA car.”

The new Hyundai Genesis Coupe which has replaced the Tiburon has already became the baby of tuners and drifters all around the world, but it’s just the beginning!

For 2009 SEMA show, Hyundai has teamed up with GReddy to unveil a very special edition of the car called “GReddy X-Gen Street Genesis Coupe”. The car uses a modified version of the Genesis’ 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine with remarkable output of 350 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque.
