Ford Mustang GT Velocity Edition

Velocity Parts decided to tune a Ford Mustang, in a European way.

The end result is a magnificent car with 525 hp, courtesy of a big supercharger bolted on the car’s 5.0 liter V8. It increases the power from the standard 417 hp, which is a big gain.

Then there’s the visual treatment, which again is done tastefully and not like American kits some bits of plastic with stickers on them! It gets a new front  bumper, a new grille, a carbon fiber vented bonnet with scoops in it, side skirts and a rear diffuser. They all come courtesy of 3D carbon.

A set of 22-inch wheels finished in black completes the looks of this mighty Mustang.

ROUSH Stage 3 Premier Edition Mustang

We thought ROUSH kinda missed out this year’s SEMA. But no!

They’ve been preparing this, the ROUSH Stage 3 Premier Edition Mustang. Roush was joined by NASCAR Sprint Cup series and Roush Fenway Racing team driver David Ragan as together they uncovered the dazzling orange ‘Mat It Mango’ 2012 Mustang, which also featured highlighted, painted graphics in its exclusive ‘Sin City Silver’ and ‘Performance Pearl’ colors.

The Premier Edition paint colors compliment the aggressive 540HP ROUSHcharged 5.0L engine and the race-inspired ROUSH suspension.

2012 Roush Mustang Stage 3

Roush has always been one of the best Mustang tuners in business. And they still are technically, but they seem to have lost their taste in styling!

The 2012 Stage 3 Mustang comes with a fabulous supercharger which offers bucked loads of power, but the looks has not turned out to be a complete success. ROUSH Performance is now offering a wide palette of color options for the RS3 with 8 choices for the base vehicle color, 6 stripe colors, and 6 stripe accent colors. As for the engine, the 5.0 liter V8 comes with the R2300 ROUSHcharger, force-feeding up to 12psi of inter-cooled energy to the already robust Coyote engine which increases the base horsepower from 412HP to an impressive 540HP and 465 ft/lbs of torque. To enjoy the ride, ROUSH Stage 3 (RS3) vehicle owners enjoy peace of mind with ROUSH’s 3 year/36,000 mile power train warranty.

The stage 3 is priced at $59,945 which sounds fair for a unique 540 hp hot rod.

SMS 302 Mustang White Yellow Black

SMS Supercars, Steve Saleen’s personal playground, announced a new color label system for their tuned Mustangs that make them really easily to tell apart. You get White Yellow and Black label 302s. The white is a light package, the yellow is a bit more serious, and the black is the top of the line highly customizable model.

Pricing for the white $35,540, while the Yellow costs $45,540.

The SMS 302 White Label is normally aspirated, making 440 horsepower, with performance suspension, exhaust, interior ergonomics and exterior styling. The SMS 302 Yellow Label, making 545 horsepower, has all of the White Label attributes plus a supercharger and SMS 19″ wheel/tire assemblies. SMS Supercars dealers once again, capitalizing on consumer interest and increased volumes, are thrilled to have a supercharged car of this value.

As for the Black, It can be specified with aerodynamic body components, S4 suspension, SMS leather interior, 575 horsepower, and many other features and options. The price really depends how much kit you got on it!

GeigerCars Shelby GT640

Geiger’s love of American cars is still going strong, and the latest outcome of this relationship is the Shelby GT640 Ford Mustang.

The car’s based on the already bonkers Shelby GT500, but when that car has to make do with like 550 hp, the Geiger ‘Stang  – thanks to a 2.3 liter compressor as well as a Geiger stainless steel sport exhaust system – makes a massive 640 PS and 790 Nm of torque.

As a direct result of that insane power, the car does 0 to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 295 km/h.

The car’s party piece however is the gold paint job complemented by black graphics and a carbon fiber bonnet. They call it the Golden Snake. It also gets mate black wheels sizes 8.5×20 inch front and 10×20 inch rear and H&R suspension.

Luxury amenities include a kicking sound system with EU navigation.

Ford Mustang Tjin Edition

Ford is bringing a huge number of tuned cars including many custom Mustangs to the SEMA show this year.

And one of them coolest is this Tjin Edition Mustang. Based on the GT model, the Tjin features a custom DuPont paint job with magnificent stripes.

It also gets Webasto sunroof, Unique Fabrication metal wing, Ignited LED headlights and fog lights and StreetGlow lighting, things that are not available with the standard Mustang GT and even the Boss version.

As we get closer to the SEMA show 2010 more and more tuned cars are showing their faces.

Ford Mustang SR-71 Blackbird by Roush and Shelby

Ford has brought two American automotive legends together to create a masterpiece one-off which will be soon auctioned for charity.

They are Carroll Shelby and Jack Roush which have partnered to create this Mustang SR-71 which is inspired by the SR-71 US Army aircraft. That’s relevant since the proceeds from the sale will benefit the EAA Young Eagles organization. EAA AirVenture Oshkosh will be held from July 26 to Aug. 1 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wis.

The vehicle is based on a 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 with the glass roof option, and apart from the awesome visuals, it comes with Supercharger, Handling Pack, tuned exhaust, and exhaust tips and generates an additional 100 hp over the car’s standard 420 hp.

GeigerCars 2011 Shelby GT500

German tuner of American cars, Geiger has released their performance upgrade kit for the new Shelby GT500 based on the 2011 Mustang, which turns out to be one of the sickest GTs ever built!

Thanks to a 3.3 litre compressor on this engine and gave it arger throttle valves, a modified injection system, a 100 millimetre air flow meter and machined cylinder heads, as well as additional coolers for charge air, coolant and engine oil, the 5.4 liter V8 engine of the ‘Stang now develops a massive 810 hp and 945 nm of torque!

To cope with the huge amount of extra power, Geiger has also tweaked the gearbox and installed a new 3-disc clutch on it. They have also come up with a custom-made exhaust system, big 360mm discs and 6-piston callipers brakes and modified suspension.

As for the wheels, the tuner offers 8.5 and 10×20 inch OZ alloy with 245/35ZR20 and 285/30ZR20 Michelin high performance tires.
