Geiger GTS based on Corvette ZR1
Geiger cars is a German tuning firm which only likes American cars. And not every American car, they like the sickest, most powerful and fastest American muscles! So for their latest venue, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 seems like perfect match.
The LS9 carat small block V8 supercharged engine of the ZR1 has undergone a rather heavy surgery so the power and torque figures are bumped up considerably! The Geiger GTS gives 710 HP and an enormous torque of 918 Nm.

The result of all that extra umpf is very clear when you put your foot down. The Geiger Corvette rockets to 100km/h in just 3.6 seconds and is capable of hitting 342 km/h max speed.
To keep this much power and speed in control, the car needs some serious mechanical considerations! The standard ZR1 covers most of the bases! It has the Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension, developed in collaboration with Ferrari, and uses carbon-ceramic brake discs each of them bigger than a wheel of a normal hatchback! For good measures, the GTS has 19 inch wheels at front and 20s at the back.

Apart from the power increment, another amazing part of the GTS Corvette is the aerodynamic body kit Geiger has put on it. The car features lower ride height, modified skirts and bumpers with bigger air intakes at front and a diffuser at the back, there are also new mufflers and LED lights. It features a sporty two tone color scheme.
Geiger Corvette ZR1 GTS is currently on display at 63rd Frankfurt Motor Show.
