Hennessey HPE700 Chevrolet Camaro

Another great debut for Hennessey Performance engineering at 2009 SEMA show is going to be this HPE700 Chevy Camaro which has been previewed a long tie ago, but now it is ready to be unveiled.

The HPE700 in essence is a 2010 Camaro which has undergone a heart transplant surgery at Hennessy center, in which its engine has been replaced with a LS9 V8 right out of the Corvette ZR1. But 620hp was not enough for the guys so they tweaked it and managed to extract 725 hp and 741 lb-ft!

The result is plain to see, 0 to 60 mph is done in 3.5 seconds and it can run a quarter mile in just 11.3 seconds at 126 mph.

This mind-blowing performance should be able to satisfy even the most insane kind of petrolheads, however you can never have enough power, Hennessey promises to make this car available with 850 hp and 1000 hp packages as well! The HPE700 is limited to 24 cars, 14 of which already been sold!
