Inden Black Saphir based on Mercedes SL63 AMG

Most of the Mercedes tuners are now offering tuning kits for the SL65 AMG Black Series, and those who can’t get the real Black, well they offer conversion kits which turns the looks of the normal SLs into the Black.

This is Inden Design’s try to create a Black Series SL and apart form some cool details, it’s a failure overall. It does not fit somehow!

The flared wheel arches and and fenders with ventilation openings are really cool, but the Black kit with that added front splitter, is not. The package is fairly complete though, with hood, rear diffuser, tail spoiler as well as rear widenings, it’s got the whole nine yards.

The Black Saphir SL63 as they call it also features a slight power upgrade which delivers 560 HP and 670Nm, and an interior package with new multimedia system and upholstery. But it’s really really expensive. The body kit alone runs for nearly 20,000 euros, and those 20-inch wheels cost 13,200 a set. A complete package can cost you up to 50 grand, not included the base car!
